I turned 56 today.
And I’ve been doing some real reflecting—not the kind that makes me wish I was younger, but the kind that reminds me how much I’ve earned this version of myself. This past year has been filled with bold moves, belly laughs, and a few unexpected lessons.
✨ We threw the first-ever Wear the Damn Boots party (you better believe the boots were fabulous).
✨ We made Confidence Kits and real connections.
✨ We kept showing up—even when we were overthinking, underdressed, or unsure.
Now, I’m stepping into 56 with no bullsht*.
Why? Because the world has been feeding us messages about aging for decades: shrink, stay quiet, cover that up, fade into the background. And honestly? I’m done with it. I know you’re probably feeling the same way.
Done chasing youth.
Done apologizing for wrinkles or wisdom.
Done pretending aging should be quiet.
“No bullsh*t” isn’t about being brash or bitter—it’s about being clear. About cutting through the noise and expectations and showing up as the woman you actually are. The one who’s lived, grown, learned, failed, succeeded, and is still evolving.
This mindset matters because when we stop trying to conform to what society says aging should look like, we create space for what aging can really feel like: liberating, powerful, full of beauty, and full of choice.
Saying “no bullsh*t” is saying yes to truth, yes to self-respect, yes to owning our stories instead of hiding them.
So, whether you’re letting your gray grow in, wearing the bright lipstick, saying no to things that drain you, or simply being honest about where you are, you’re rewriting the story on aging, and I’m here for every chapter.
This month, let’s keep it real. Let’s wear the damn boots and walk boldly into the second (or third!) act with pride. Because the truth is—you’re not past your prime. You’re standing in it.

Things I’m Loving
I like BIG bags
I’ve been obsessed with purses and bags since I was a little girl—maybe it was the sense of possibility, or maybe just the joy of carrying something all my own. That love hasn’t gone away, but it has evolved. These days, I’m drawn to pieces that are both beautiful and practical—bags that age well, carry stories, and hold a lot more than just lipstick. This month, I’m sharing my favorite market totes, straw bags, and classic canvas boat bags—the kind that feel effortlessly stylish and ready for whatever adventure midlife brings.
