Lisa’s Letter 06.09.2025

It’s the last full week of school here before summer officially kicks in, and I’ve already started drafting my summer bucket list—not the kind packed with pressure or productivity, but one rooted in joy and presence.

This year, I’m being more intentional. I’m adding things I actually want to do:
☀️ Visit the farmers’ market on Sundays
☀️ Spend time by the water with a good book
☀️ Say yes to spontaneous ice cream runs
☀️ Wear the linen dress—even if there’s nowhere fancy to go
☀️ Drink wine on the deck in the evening
☀️ Try something new—just because

Because summer in midlife doesn’t need to be “busy” to be meaningful. It just needs to feel like yours.

Confidence Reminder of the Week:

You don’t need permission to make joy a priority.
In fact, the most confident thing you can do this season might be saying yes to yourself more often.

Something I’m Loving:

A fresh set of journals I picked up for capturing summer reflections, little joys, and bucket list moments as they happen. (And yes—I bought the ones with flowers on the cover.)

Wishing you sunshine, soft moments, and the courage to chase what lights you up.

P.S. What’s one thing you’re adding to your summer bucket list? Hit reply—I’d love to hear.
