Lisa’s Letter 06.16.2025

This weekend moved at a slower pace. I spent most of it caring for our sweet Sunny—she’s 17 now and hasn’t been doing well. She’s holding on, though, and for now, we’re just taking it one day at a time. I know so many of you understand that kind of tender, quiet love—the kind that asks nothing more than your presence.

In between the rain, I got a little yard work done and clipped a few daisies to bring inside. A small joy, but sometimes it’s the smallest things—a bloom on the windowsill, a dog curled up nearby—that remind us we’re alive and rooted.

And speaking of being rooted in reality: shopping for swimsuits. 🙃

Last week on Instagram, I asked where you’re all shopping for swimsuits these days—and your answers did not disappoint. I compiled the top suggestions into a list that includes options for every kind of body, from petite to voluptuous, because confidence shouldn’t be limited by sizing. You’ll find the full round-up [link to blog post or Instagram post]—and I hope it helps you feel good, not just in the suit, but in the skin you’re in.

This week’s confidence tip:
Pause before you rush. The beauty is often in the moment you’re about to skip over.

What I’m loving lately:
☀️ Morning walks when the rain clears
🌼 A bunch of daisies in my mom’s vase on the kitchen table
👙 Swimsuit brands that understand grown women’s bodies

Here’s to the small joys, the sacred pauses, and being here now.

Wishing you a gentle, grounded week.

P.S. If someone in your life needs a midlife confidence boost or a better swimsuit rec, forward this along—they’re always welcome here.
