This week feels like a little celebration—I’m heading to visit my daughter Claire, and I haven’t seen her since November! We had plans in February, but the flu had other ideas. So this trip feels extra special and long overdue. I’m so ready for hugs, catching up, and a change of scenery.
Also, how are we already halfway through July? Writing this letter reminded me just how fast summer moves once it starts. There are still so many things I want to do—more beach days, more books, more simple joys. Thankfully, summer isn’t over yet.
If you’re like me and still staring at that summer bucket list with big plans and slow progress, take this as your sign: there’s still time.
This week’s confidence kickstart:
Let this be your permission to pick up where you left off.
Even if the days are flying, there’s still time to live fully in the season you’re in. Revisit that list. Make the plan. Wear the damn bikini.
Things I’m Loving Lately:
◊ A new bikini I found at Body Double in Fenwick Island—proof that yes, at 56, we absolutely wear what makes us feel good
◊ A $10 bottle of La Vieille Ferme Rosé that feels like summer in a glass
◊ Pampering myself after each shower with this Black Sand Bath & Body Oil, made with jojoba, apricot, evening primrose, and sunflower oils to support a healthy skin barrier. This lightweight formula leaves the skin soft, nourished, and silky, without being greasy.
◊ Enjoying soft-serve ice cream with jimmies at my favorite ice cream spot.

Remember a few months ago when I stopped getting lash extensions and went on the hunt for the perfect mascara? The search is finally over. Next week, I’ll share a new blog post, Mascara Showdown: My Honest Review of 7 Mascaras That Promise Lift, Length & Volume. I’m breaking down all the ones I tried—what delivered, what flopped, and the one that truly wowed me. If you’re looking for your next holy grail mascara, you won’t want to miss this one.
Whether you’re road-tripping, traveling, or soaking in the everyday joys of home, I hope you find a moment this week to slow down, reconnect, and remember that summer is still yours for the taking.

P.S. Forward this to a friend who needs a little reminder that mid-July is just the middle, not the end.
