Lisa’s Letter 11.25.24

thanksgiving day tableAs we step into Thanksgiving week, it’s impossible to ignore the weight of the world around us. Ongoing challenges and uncertainty can leave us feeling divided, but that’s precisely why seeking joy is more important than ever. Joy comes in small, grounding moments—laughter around the dinner table, crisp autumn walks, or pausing to feel gratitude for this amazing community. Joy doesn’t erase the struggles but gives us the strength to face them. This week, let’s choose to notice and celebrate the little joys surrounding us.

This past week, I treated myself to some much-needed self-care and found joy. I had my eyelashes filled and brows tinted—a small but powerful confidence boost—and now my morning makeup routine takes less than five minutes! I also carved out time to wander through a cozy bookstore, one of my favorite soul-soothing escapes. Strolling through the shelves felt like a balm for the world’s heaviness, and I left with a stack of holiday books filled with merriment and cheer. These small rituals reminded me how joy often hides in the simple things that nurture our spirit.

I’d love to hear from you—what’s bringing you joy right now? Hit reply or leave a comment and let me know!
