It’s been a while since my last Lisa’s Letter, but I wanted to let you know I’m still here. Lately, I’ve been struggling with fatigue and just not feeling like myself. At first, I brushed it off, thinking it was just the usual exhaustion that comes with a new school year or perhaps menopause related. I found myself sleeping more than usual, which disrupted my morning routine of writing blog posts and Lisa’s Letters. However, the fatigue persisted as time passed, and I began experiencing dizziness and disorientation. Concerned, I made an appointment with my doctor to get checked out.
After some initial tests, I received a diagnosis of hypotension, electrolyte imbalance, and possible thyroid issues. Essentially, this means that my blood pressure is significantly low, and it drops even further when I move around. Additionally, the imbalance of electrolytes, particularly salt, contributes to my disorientation. As a result, I am now seeing specialists for further testing. The good news is that I am starting to feel slightly better and have a little more energy! My aim is to return with the weekly newsletter and publish additional blog posts.
I want to share some of my top gift guide picks in this week’s letter. With many guides on social media, it can be overwhelming to sift through all of them, especially when many feature similar products. However, I have found some unique ones that stand out, and I have also created my own guide, which I will share with you.
Thank you for your continued support, and enjoy this week’s letter!
